POMPEII: The Exhibition, February 7 - May 25, 2015
Venture on a journey back in time to witness the ancient Roman city of Pompeii before and after the epic eruption of Mount Vesuvius 2,000 years ago. POMPEII: The Exhibition will transport students to the year 79, when Pompeii and its 20,000 citizens vanished beneath thick layers of volcanic ash.

FIELD TRIP PRICING
Tickets for POMPEII: The Exhibition are timed with groups of students entering every 15 minutes between 10:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Please choose your entry time carefully as capacity is limited and we cannot guarantee that rescheduling will be possible. No refunds will be granted for missed entry times. School group reservations cannot be made for Mondays.

POMPEII: The Exhibition audio guides can also be added. These are $5 per person and can be paid for in cash at the exhibit or, if pre-ordered can be included in the group payment.
PAYMENT PROCESS & POLICY
All group numbers must be finalized and tickets pre-paid 30 days prior to the field trip date. At this time group counts are considered final and tickets are non-refundable. Payments can be made with a school check, credit card, or purchase order. Any tickets not pre-paid 30 days prior to the visit will be released and additions to the group will need to be purchased the day of the visit at the general admission rate.
Free Bus Transportation for Seattle Schools
Public and private school groups within Seattle Public School District boundaries are eligible for free bus transportation to and from Pacific Science Center, courtesy of PEMCO Insurance. Learn More
Schools on Trains
For $15, school groups can ride Amtrak Cascades anywhere between Bellingham and Portland. For $30, school groups can travel to and from Washington State to cities south of Portland. Learn more

School group rates cannot be combined with any other offers. Membership and PRIME card tickets may be purchased separately. We cannot guarantee entry times for individually purchased exhibition tickets will be available in conjunction with a school group's planned visit.
Policies & Information
TEACHER POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Pacific Science Center asks all educators to review our Teacher Policies and Procedures prior to the scheduled field trip date.
Pacific Science Center requires a minimum ratio of one adult per 10 students, and a maximum of one adult per one student.
TEACHERS: Please distribute the Chaperone Expectations and Policies prior to your scheduled visit date.
POMPEII: The Exhibition has a timed ticket entry with times from 10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m., and a limited number of students will enter every 15 minutes. To provide the best experience for your students, we will not exceed the maximum number allowed of 110 guests. If your attendance number increases, we cannot guarantee the availability of additional tickets. Please let us know of any additions at least 30 days prior to your visit.
EXHIBIT TICKETING & RE-ENTRY
Each guest will have an exhibit ticket that must be presented upon entry. Exhibit re-entry is not permitted. Once guests have exited through the gift shop they cannot re-enter.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
Should school be delayed or cancelled due to incelement weather, please call Education Registration at (206) 443-2925 to reschedule your visit.
Food and drink are strictly prohibited inside the exhibit. Cameras, video recording devices, and camera phones may not be used and must be turned off inside the exhibit.

Greece: Secrets of the Past in IMAX
Travel to Greece on a sweeping archeological trip back in time in Greece: Secrets of the Past. At the heart of the film's journey is Dr. Christos Doumas, a Greek archeologist who is working to piece together the puzzle of ancient Greece and better understand its influence on life today. Also playing a key role is Dr. George Vougioukalakis, a volcanologist studying the devastating explosion on the island of Santorini in 1646 BC, which changed life in the Aegean Sea forever.
